Han erkänner sanningen innan någon lämnar ett vittnesmål mot honom. Han försummar inte det som anförtrotts [honom], och inte heller glömmer han det han blivit påmind om.
Han gäckar inte [andra] med öknamn, han åsamkar inte sitt grannskap någon skada och inte heller känner han någon glädje över [andras] missöden.
Han träder inte in i falskhet, inte heller lämnar han sanningen.
Om han är tyst gräms han inte av sin förtegenhet. Om han skrattar höjer han inte sin röst. Om någon åsamkar honom orätt uthärdar han tålmodigt till dess att Gud är Den som utkräver hämnd för honom.
Han utsätter sig själv för svårigheter medan [andra] människor upplever ett välbefinnande genom honom. Han tröttar ut sig själv för sitt tillkommande liv, men utsätter inte andra för besvär för sin egen skull.
