Muharramprogram hålls i flera städer i Sverige

Den 1 september i år motsvarar den 1 av den islamiska månaden Muharram. Under denna månad sorger shiamuslimer runt om i världen sin tredje stora ledare, Imam Hussein (fvmh). I Sverige kommer att hållas sorgceremonier i olika städer bland annat i Stockholm, Malmö, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Uppsala etc. ”Imam Ali Islamic Center kommer att hålla program i tre språk under årets Muharramprogram”, säger Mohsen Hakimollahi, församlingens ordförande. Enligt honom kommer att hållas program på persiska och arabiska från och med den 1 september till och med den 11 september och program på svenska hålls från och med den 5 till och med den 9 september. För att underlätta för besökare att delta i programmet har församlingens styrelse beslutat att från och med detta år hålla dessa program i olika tider. Programmet på persiska startar kl. 18:00 varje kväll och programmet på arabiska startar kl. 21:00 varje kväll. Svenska programmet börjar kl. 18:30.
Den stora Ashura manifestation som anordnas årligen av shiamuslimska föreningar i samband med månaden Muharram i centrala Stockholm, kommer i år att äga rum den 7 september.
Under manifestationen fokuserar deltagarna på Imam Husseins budskap som handlar bland annat om frihet och rättvisa.
