I Guds namn, den fullständigt Barmhärtige, den ständigt Barmhärtige
O Gud, månaden Ramaḍān’s Herre, [den månad] i vilken Du uppenbarade Koranen, och i vilken Du föreskrev fastan för Dina tjänare,
[jag ber Dig att] välsigna Muḥammad och Muḥammads familj,
och förse mig med möjligheten att vallfärda till Ditt helgade hus, detta år såväl som alla kommande år [av mitt liv], samt [att Du] förlåter mig för de stora synderna [jag har begått i mitt liv], ty sannerligen kan ingen förlåta dem förutom Du, O fullständigt Barmhärtige, O Allvetande!
