Karl Sune Detlof Bergström, född 1916 i Stockholm, död 2004 i Stockholm, var en svensk kemist och biokemist och även nobelpristagare i medicin.

Han studerade utomlands (i Schweiz, England och USA) och även vid Karolinska Institutet, där han doktorerade och blev docent i biokemi år 1944. Vid det tillfället hade han redan hunnit arbeta två år som assistent vid Nobelinstitutets biokemiska avdelning. Den tjänsten kvarhöll han till 1947 varpå han lämnade Stockholm för sin professur i medicinsk och fysiologisk kemi vid Lunds universitet. Han återvände sedan till Karolinska Institutet 1958 som professor i kemi. Han stannade där till 1980 då han blev emeritus och gick i pension. Vid sidan av professuren var Bergström rektor för Karolinska Institutet år 1969–1977.
Han blev ledamot i Kungliga Ingenjörsvetenskapsakademien år 1962 och i Kungliga Vetenskapsakademien år 1965. Han var även ordförande i Nobelstiftelsen år 1975–1987 och blev ordförande för Vetenskapsakademien år 1983. Tillsammans med Bengt Samuelsson och John R. Vane tilldelades han Albert Lasker Basic Medical Research Award år 1977.

Det var år 1982 som Bergström tillsammans med kollegan Bengt Samuelsson och britten John R. Vane tilldelades Nobelpriset i fysiologi/medicin p.g.a. deras upptäckter gällande ”prostaglandinerna” (hormonliknande ämnen) och relaterade biologiskt aktiva substanser.
